Planning Meetings Being Scheduled

(2011-12-19) A series of meetings is being planned for January and February to gather additional public input for our Watershed Plan. Please stay tuned for locations and times for your district.

Association Now Registered Charity

(2011-12-05) Kensington North Watersheds Association is now registered as a charitable organisation under the Income Tax Act with the Canada Revenue Agency. Please see our Donations page for more information on how you can support your local watershed association.

Summer Season Over

(2011-09-03) The main summer work season is over for the year. Many kilometres of stream were cleaned for the first time in our history and many more were maintained. Several new in-stream silt traps were dug and several traps were cleaned out. Over 3500 trees were planted at a number of locations throughout our area.

Darnley Bridge Officially Opened

(2011-08-12) Transportation minister, Ron MacKinley, drove a vintage tractor across the new Darnley Bridge. Please see the CBC News Report for more details.

New Darnley Bridge Opened to Public

(2011-06-17) The new $4.5 million Darnley Bridge replacement has been opened for the traffic. Please see the PEI Government News Release for more details.

Annual Meeting Held

(2011-06-14) Our Annual General Meeting was held on Monday, June 13, at the Kensington Town Hall.

Annual Meeting Scheduled

(2011-06-06) The Annual General Meeting of the Association will be held at 7:00 pm, Monday, June 13, at the Kensington Town Hall. All members encouraged to attend.
