Durants Creek is a short but important system that starts in the uplands between Margate and Clinton and drains into the Southwest River. In 2009, the KNWSA crew cleaned the waters upstream of the County Line Rd., and built brush mats close to the County Line to consolidate silt and reform the stream bank. Further work is hoped to be achieved in 2010, in cooperation with local land owners.
